Your skin is our canvas and our artists are very skilled at designing new tattoos for any part of the body you prefer.
✔ Smaller and first time tattoos - Whether you’re looking to go small and keep it a secret or it’s your first-time, we’ll make sure you walk out with an original design.
✔ Large tattoos and returners - It’s addicting, we know. From full sleeve tattoos to a second or third, many of our customers are long-time “returners.” And that's because our artists here in Grand Rapids do such an amazing job and provide a memorable experience.
Thinking of getting some fresh ink to cover up that fading or embarrassing tattoo? We do that too.
A cover up tattoo is a new design tattooed over the top of an existing tattoo so the old tattoo is no longer visible or is part of the new piece of art. Basically, you’re getting a tattoo over a tattoo. It utilizes elements of the original design to create something entirely new.
✔ The original tattoo was poorly done
✔ The tattoo is a reminder of a difficult time in a person’s life
✔ The tattoo faded or looks dated
✔ They realize that the tattoo is offensive
✔ They want to incorporate the tattoo in a new design
✔ We are sure there are many more valid reasons...

Our Grand Rapids tattoo artist will contact you!
Of course! At least we like to think so. In all honesty, we just try to make sure that we provide our customers with the most amazing experience. There are lots of tattoo artists, but we know that if you come to see us, you'll see one of the most memorable tattoo places in Grand Rapids, MI.
Each artist has different rates. However, if you are looking for our tattoo cost, we are very transparent with our pricing.
Quotes are based on placement, size, and complexity. It's best to contact us to find out what it would cost you!
Yes, we do. Taking credit cards costs us more, so we will charge a small credit card fee if that is how you decide to pay. We realize things can be tight, so whip out the plastic! We take Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We will need photocopy your photo ID to prove your visit to the credit card company should the need arise.
Yes! We are on of the top walk in tattoo shops Grand Rapids, especially if our schedule is light. Be sure to give us a call to be sure we aren't too busy before you walk-in. Remember, it is much easier to get on our schedule if you make an appointment.
You may be on a budget and looking for cheap tattoos Grand Rapids. At our tattoo studio, we do our best to provide amazing work, but it all depends on your budget and what you want. Give us a call to determine how much your tattoo may cost you.
After you get a tattoo, we will place a bandage on the area. Be sure to leave your bandage on for a minimum of 4 hours. In the end, keep your wrap on as long as your particular artist has instructed you to keep it on.
Remove the bandage and wash your new tattoo with cold water and soap. The cold water will help keep the healing capillaries from opening up again and possibly leaking. Wash at least 4 times a day.
Let the tattoo dry out for half a day before putting an ointment on right away. Your tattoo was bandaged with A&D Ointment so you don’t need to use the same ointment, we suggest using a light lotion like Lubriderm, Aveeno or our favorite: Cetaphil Cream. Cetaphil, while a bit expensive is great for your skin even without the tattoo, and it is non-clogging, this is particularly important in the summertime when high temperatures can make it harder for the body to cool off and breathe.
Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo while it is healing and avoid public places like gyms where common use of equipment can expose your tattoo to unwanted infections.
Tattoos take 7-10 days to heal properly, in that time you should not expose it to direct sun, salt or chlorine water. Showering is fine.
To keep your tattoo looking great forever, regularly and ALWAYS cover or put sunblock on your tattoo if you are going to be out in the sun. Keep your tattoo out of the sun and it will look good MUCH longer.
Our Grand Rapids tattoo artists are believer of showers. Cleaning any kind of cut is good for you. If there is any residue leftover from getting the tattoo, cleaning it gives germs nothing to feed on. On the other hand you should stay out of pool water and salty beach water until at least 7 days after your tattooing.
We will be upfront with you. Simply put, the answer is yes. However, everyone handles pain differently. The degree of pain also depends on what part of the body we apply the ink. Tattoos usually hurts only for the first 5 – 10 minutes and then you either feel numb in that area or you feel very good all of a sudden.
Is tipping a tattoo artist required?
Now there’s a good question. In a perfect world I wouldn’t tip a waiter or waitress because I HAD too. The service should be better than just “good enough” which is what you get in most places. If one of our Grand Rapids tattoo artists have gone out of their way to make things good for you, or really set you up with something amazing, than by all means, tip away.
What’s typical? About 10% of the cost. But, anything is kind and shows us that we met your expectations.
